eBay needed a compelling video to engage and inspire a new class of interns to apply for their internship program. They wanted something that struck a balance between sentimental and motivational—a piece that would not only celebrate current interns but also attract future ones.

Working on-site with real interns during Intern Appreciation Day, we navigated their schedules to capture authentic moments that embodied the energy and excitement of the program. One of the biggest challenges was directing the voiceover, as the tone needed to feel both aspirational and personal. After several takes, I guided the VO artist to approach it like a graduation toast, which unlocked the perfect delivery.

The final video resonated with the interns, serving as a meaningful culmination of their experience. It also sparked engagement from potential applicants, with many reaching out to learn how to apply.
